What is the dress code?

Business attire for both the conference and dinner.

Is there a cloakroom on site?

Yes, there is a cloakroom on arrival by registration.

How do I add additional attendees to my booking?

Please contact us at conference@makeuk.org to enquire about group bookings. Please note you will not be able to add someone who has already registered to a group booking.

I don’t know my additional attendee details?

If you are unsure of your guest details please put TBC and you can update at a later stage.

Will I receive a ticket for this event?

This is not a ticketed event and you will not receive tickets in the mail. Upon arrival at the QEII please make your way to the registration desks in the Main Foyer to collect your entry badge.

The name on the registration booking doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay?

No, the details must match. As this is not a ticketed event and badges will be provided onsite, the registration details will need to be those of the person attending in order for the correct badge to be given.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you will be able to update your online registration details until Tuesday 18th February 2025. After this date all changes will need to be sent to the Conference Team conference@makeuk.org 

What is the refund policy?

Cancellations must be received in writing by Tuesday 18th February 2025 and will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total invoiced. Make UK regrets that we cannot give refunds for cancellations after this date, although substitute attendees are very welcome.

Is my registration transferrable? Can I cancel?

If your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, you can update your online registration details to transfer to a nominated colleague who can attend in your place. Please note any changes after Tuesday 18 February 2025 will need to be sent to the Conference Team conference@makeuk.org. Cancellations need to be made in writing a minimum of 14 days before the event date and will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total invoiced. Make UK regrets that we cannot give refunds for cancellations after this date, although substitute delegates are very welcome.

What are my accommodation options?

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The venue is easily accessible and well connected via public transport. It is in close walking distance of both Westminster (serviced by district, circle and jubilee lines) and St James’s Park (serviced by district and circle line) underground stations. More details found here.

There is no parking available at the venue but there are several car parks within walking distance. Check the venue website http://www.qeiicentre.london to look at the various parking options available.

Will I get a receipt?

Yes, you will receive an email receipt with confirmation of your booking.

How big is the exhibition and who will be there?

Over 20 exhibitors will be attending and you can visit them during the networking and catering breaks throughout the day. Click here to see who will be there.

When will I be sent the final details for the event?

You will receive final details no later than 2 weeks before the event.

If I don’t want to attend the conference can I go to the exhibition?

The exhibition is solely for conference delegates.

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket gives you access to the whole programme, catering throughout the day, networking opportunities, access to the exhibition, Speakers’ Corner and the networking drinks at the end of the day. Dinner tickets are sold separately.

Is there a prayer room at the conference?

Yes, a quiet, reflection, prayer room will be available. Please enquire at the registration desk and the team will let you know where to find it.

Will my contact details be shared with exhibitors and sponsors?

At the point of registering online, you have the choice to opt in or out of sharing your data with third parties which includes sponsors and exhibitors.
